Oxera announces today that it is further expanding its senior team with the appointment of Professor Jordi Gual as a member of its Board.

Jordi brings a wealth of academic and industry expertise to Oxera. He’s Professor of Economics at IESE Business School and a Research Fellow at the Centre for Economic Policy Research (CEPR) in London. He is a member of the Board of Directors of Telefônica Brasil, an Advisory Board member of Telefónica España, and was previously Chairman of CaixaBank. He has recently become a SUERF Fellow and his work on banking, European integration, regulation and competition policy has been widely published.

Jordi will work alongside Dr Luis Correia da Silva, who has been reappointed in his role as Chair of Oxera’s board, to focus on the continued growth of Oxera in Spain and across Europe. He’ll collaborate closely with Oxera’s team based in Madrid as well as its experts in Telecoms, Media and Technology (TMT), Financial Services, Energy and Utilities and Competition and Regulation.
