Dr Luigi Stammati : Senior Consultant

Luigi provides economic advice in litigation and international arbitration, with a focus on the quantification of damages. His work primarily involves complex antitrust and commercial disputes before national courts in Italy, Spain, and the UK, as well as in international arbitration proceedings.

He has advised on matters spanning a wide range of sectors, including agriculture, packaging, public procurement, financial services, construction, telecoms, airline fuel supply, and pharmaceuticals. Luigi also has experience supporting competition investigations—particularly in the financial sector—and providing regulatory advice in telecoms and financial services.

He has contributed to cases across multiple jurisdictions, including the UK, Italy, Spain, and several Latin American countries. Prior to joining Oxera in November 2018, Luigi gained experience at Frontier Economics in Madrid.
