Victoria Treßel : Consultant

Victoria is a financial economist in Oxera’s Finance & Valuation team, with expertise in corporate finance, capital markets, and econometrics. She specialises in translating complex financial and statistical evidence into clear insights for clients, regulators, and legal stakeholders.

Victoria has advised clients across the energy, financial services, and transport sectors on questions relating to valuation, financial analysis, regulation, and risk modelling. Her experience covers regulatory processes, disputes, and asset transactions.

Victoria holds a PhD in Financial Economics, during which she conducted empirical research on initial public offerings (IPOs) in the EU. Her academic work evaluated the effects of the Prospectus Regulation on SMEs and analysed firms’ listing behaviour during the COVID‑19 stock market boom. She has taught corporate finance at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
