Nilab is an Analyst in Oxera’s Competition team, where she applies her skills in quantitative and econometric analysis to address challenges in competition economics.
Before joining Oxera, she worked as a student research assistant at the German Institute for Economic Research in Berlin (DIW Berlin) in the Firms and Markets Department. In this role, she worked on different projects across multiple research areas, employing data analysis and econometric techniques in Python and Stata. Additionally, she completed an internship at another economic consultancy, where she worked on an abuse of dominance case.
Nilab graduated with an MSc and BSc in Economics from the Freie Universität Berlin. During her studies, she specialised in micro-econometrics, quantitative methods, and competition economics. She also worked at the Chair of Econometrics at Freie Universität Berlin, where she conducted tutorials in Mathematics and Econometrics for undergraduate students in Economics and Business Administration.
