Mario Iñiguez Mangado : Analyst

Mario is a member of Oxera’s Competition team where he leverages his expertise in quantitative and econometric analysis to tackle issues relating to competition economics.

Prior to joining Oxera, he worked as an analyst in KPMG’s competition team. In this role, he acted as an independent expert in damages claims arising from breaches of competition law, with a focus on analysing the presence of effects and quantifying damages using data analysis and econometric techniques, particularly with Stata.

Before his tenure at KPMG, Mario worked as an economist in the Global Economic Scenarios team at BBVA Research. Additionally, he gained valuable experience through an internship in the economic advisory area of Spain’s National Markets and Competition Commission.
