Juan Gismero García : Analyst

Juan is a member of Oxera’s Competition team where he leverages his expertise in quantitative and econometric analysis to tackle issues relating to competition economics.

Prior to joining Oxera, he served as an analyst in KPMG’s competition team. In this role, he acted as an independent expert in damages claims arising from breaches of competition law, with a focus on analysing  potential effects and quantifying damages using data analysis and econometric techniques, particularly using STATA.

Prior to his work at KPMG, Juan worked as a financial risk analyst consultant at Management Solutions, where he was involved in financial derivatives and counterparty and market risk projects for a major Spanish bank.

  • Testified as an expert witness in cases relating to the vehicle manufacturing cartel (2024–)
