Jose is a member of Oxera’s Competition and Analytics teams. He specialises in the use of quantitative techniques in litigation and competition cases, advising clients on damage quantification in abuse of dominance claims, legal litigations and public policy cases. His experience spans a wide range of industries, including aviation, digital markets and pharmaceuticals. Prior to joining Oxera in 2021, Jose worked at Transparent in Spain as the Lead Data Analyst for two years, advising public administrators and digital platforms such as the Hawaii Tourism Authority, INE (Spanish Statistical Office), and Booking.com on the short-term rental market. His experience focused on the field of causal inference with big data and new computational techniques.
