Götz is a member of Oxera’s Competition team. He specialises in applying economic theory and empirical techniques in the context of competition proceedings and litigation. Götz has advised clients on a range of cases including follow-on damages claims, mergers, and market investigations before EU and UK competition authorities. He has worked on these issues in a broad range of sectors, including energy, healthcare, financial services, digital, and automotive.
Before joining Oxera, Götz worked at another economics consultancy in London, and at the UK’s Office of Fair Trading (now the Competition and Markets Authority). He has also worked at a large media company.
