Giuseppe specialises in the application of economics to competition and antitrust matters, with a focus on merger control and competition litigation. He has over ten years’ experience advising clients in competition cases before the European Commission and national competition authorities, in Europe and globally, across a wide range of sectors including fast-moving consumer goods, luxury goods, healthcare, utilities and tech products.
Giuseppe has considerable experience in merger cases, having advised clients in high-profile transactions before the European Commission, the UK Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) and national competition authorities across the world. He has also advised clients in the context of antitrust investigations, such as market inquiries by the CMA, and abuse of dominance and cartel investigations in multiple jurisdictions.
Giuseppe has also advised clients in complex litigation matters, on both the plaintiff and the defendant sides. His experience includes the assessment of conduct and the estimation of damages in the context of follow-on, as well as stand-alone, litigation matters.
Prior to joining Oxera, Giuseppe held positions at leading international economics consulting firms.
