Eric Schmidt : Analyst

Eric is a member of Oxera’s Performance, Productivity & Efficiency team, focusing on regulation in the water industry. He uses economics and analytical tools to provide insight and solutions to a wide range of client issues, and has worked on projects spanning workstreams across price controls. He has undertaken econometric analysis to produce cost and performance benchmarking, while supporting clients through a changing regulatory environment. Before joining Oxera, Eric spent over a year as an economist at Severn Trent Water, working on cost assessment for the upcoming price review (PR24). Prior to this, Eric graduated with an MSc and a BA (Hons) in Economics, both from Durham University.
