Deborah joined Oxera in 2012 and leads its HR and Consultancy Support teams. She has a broad range of expertise and experience in management and HR, primarily gained within professional service firms. Before joining Oxera, she spent five years in senior HR roles at law firm, DAC Beachcroft, where she managed a large team and led a number of strategic projects, including restructures and the TUPE implications of a significant merger. Prior to this, Deborah was a member of the HR Leadership Team at Grant Thornton, where she worked with the national business leaders of its new Specialist Financial Services unit, supporting a programme of rapid growth.

With areas of expertise including leadership and management development, reward strategy, employee relations and employment law, organisation design and change management, Deborah is also qualified to administer and assess a range of aptitude tests and personality profiling tools.

Deborah takes a lead role in all aspects of people strategy at Oxera, working closely with other Partners to provide a first-class working environment. She is responsible for recruitment, employee engagement and the Oxera Academy, a bespoke structured training and career development programme. In 2013, she introduced Oxera’s first comprehensive People Management Academy programme.

Deborah is a Chartered Fellow of the CIPD, having qualified in 2000, and a member of the British Psychological Society.
