Anna Maria Ruhr-Doose : Senior Consultant

Anna is a member of Oxera’s Competition team in Hamburg. She has over ten years’ consulting experience in competition economics covering damages estimation, mergers, state aid and abuse of dominance.

Prior to joining Oxera, Anna was a Partner at Hamburg Economics, and before that worked for another well-known economics consultancy. At Hamburg Economics she provided economics advice in the context of German and European antitrust law.

Anna advises both claimants and defendants in competition litigation cases—especially those arising from horizontal agreements. She has advised clients in antitrust proceedings relating to rail, trucks, sugar, coffee and car batteries. She has also advised on mergers in the telecoms market, as well as in the hospitals sector.
