Portrait of Adrian Seidl

Adrian Seidl : Graduate Data Engineer

Adrian is a Graduate Data Engineer in Oxera’s Data & AI team, where he applies his skills in data engineering, data science and AI, together with his background in economics and business, to support data-driven analysis and address complex business and economic challenges.

Before joining Oxera, Adrian worked as a Data Engineering Consultant at Acuity Analytics, where he maintained and further developed SQL Server-based data environments and ETL processes for a client in the e-commerce and retail sector. In this role, he worked on the maintenance, refactoring and further development of existing data processes as well as the design and implementation of new ones, including an anonymisation workflow. He also provided operational support and held on-call responsibility for ten months. Previously, during his studies in Economics, he gained experience in financial controlling at Westwing and in banking at HVB (UniCredit).

Adrian holds a BSc in Economics from LMU Munich and is completing an MSc in Data Science at the University of Padua, with only his master’s thesis outstanding. During his studies, he specialised in quantitative methods, machine learning, artificial intelligence—including large language models and generative AI—, computer vision, reinforcement learning, forecasting, and large-scale data processing. His academic work has also included the development of a multimodal vision-language model.

Adrian speaks English, German, and Italian.
