Webinar: Policy papers reviewing Bundesnetzagentur’s efficiency benchmarking procedure and recommendations
Oxera has collaborated with Dr Eva Deuchert of Netze BW to produce five articles on Bundesnetzagentur’s current benchmarking procedure for assessing the efficiency of energy networks.
The first article has been published in German, and can be accessed here. It explains which of the benchmarking methods (data envelopment analysis or stochastic frontier analysis) used by Bundesnetzagentur determines the efficiency targets for the DSOs, and why. The remaining articles will be published by ew—Magazin für die Energiewirtschaft over the coming months.
