The Brexit Lectures: Data protection and the future of customer data

As data and its analysis becomes ever more indispensable to a host of industries, regulations governing the acquisition, use and transfer of customer data become ever more important. Brexit presents the UK with a decision – to hew closely to the existing body of European law or forge its own path? This lecture will explore the different options open to the UK and the consequences of adopting a distinct approach to data protection.

The lecture will be delivered by Elizabeth Denham, who will then take part in a panel discussion with Cameron Craig. The event will take place at the Institute of Directors in London, and will begin with refreshments and networking from 6.30 pm.
