This Oxera discussion forum, hosted in Berlin on 31 March, will feature keynote speeches from Gert-Jan Koopman (European Commission) and Professor Dr Joachim Erdmann (Ministry for the Economy, Labour and Transport of Lower Saxony) on the priorities of the European Commission and current developments in state aid, as well as panel discussions on state aid in energy (with a focus on the revised German Renewable Energy Sources Act, EEG) and state aid and tax rulings (e.g. Apple, Fiat and Starbucks). There will also be two presentations on the growing role for ex post evaluation of aid measures.

Registration and participation are free of charge. The event will be conducted in German.
