Today, Oxera announces its continued growth with four promotions to its senior team.
Christopher Davis and Kimela Shah have been promoted to Partner, while Stevie Dixon and Tamrat Shone step into new roles as Principal.
These appointments recognise the talents and achievements of the four individuals, and the continued growth of Oxera and its senior team.
Christopher Davis, who joined Oxera in 2011, is a leading expert in regulation and regulatory finance. He advises clients across a wide range of sectors, including transport, sport, and utilities. In his new role, he’ll be Oxera’s Head of Water and take a leading role within its Regulation and Market Design Centre of Excellence. Commenting on his promotion, Chris said he’ll focus on ‘Further enhancing Oxera’s market-leading reputation in regulatory economics, and designing regulatory systems that are fit for the future’.
Kimela Shah specialises in competition, litigation and arbitration, with particular expertise in consumer and collective actions. She uses advanced quantitative techniques and develops analytical models to support high-stakes cases. Reflecting on her new role, Kimela said she’s looking forward to ‘Continuing to support clients with large and complex competition cases and having a particular responsibility for Oxera’s collective actions practice, with a focus on ESG litigation, a growing and exciting field’.
In her new capacity, Stevie Dixon will focus on Oxera’s brand presence as Head of Brand, Marketing and Communications. Her vision is to create an integrated practice that supports Oxera’s international growth. Stevie’s leadership will undoubtedly bring significant benefits by putting clients, stakeholders and audience at the centre of Oxera’s work. In her new role, Stevie will ‘Ensure that Oxera continues to deliver top-tier brand, marketing and communication solutions that meet the evolving needs of our industry and our clients’.
Tamrat Shone has more than a decade of experience in competition litigation and merger control. He applies deep cross-sectoral expertise and advanced analytical methods to deliver compelling insights on high-stakes cases. Speaking about his promotion, Tamrat said ‘Having joined Oxera as an Analyst, I’m thrilled to now be working alongside the leadership team to further enhance our reputation in UK competition litigation, and support the growth of our mergers practice’.
