Oxera expands its senior team in Brussels with the appointment of Giulio Federico

Oxera announces the appointment of Dr Giulio Federico as a Partner in Brussels.

  • Giulio specialises in competition economics, including mergers and antitrust.
  • Giulio has significant experience in the areas of energy and climate economics.

Oxera, announces today that Giulio Federico has joined its growing team of senior competition experts in Brussels.

Prior to joining Oxera, Giulio was Deputy Director and Head of Unit in the Recovery and Resilience Task Force at the European Commission. Before that, he was for several years Head of Unit in the Chief Economist Team at DG Competition, where he led the economic analysis on numerous merger investigations and on several antitrust matters. He will be part of the leadership team in Brussels alongside Oxera Partners, Stéphane Dewulf, Sir Philip Lowe and Nicole Robins.

In addition to his local leadership role, Giulio will be joining Oxera’s Board, where he will contribute his insights and strategic vision to Oxera’s international expansion.
