New office opens in Amsterdam, with Maurice de Valois Turk joining as Partner

Continuing our European expansion, we’re delighted to announce the opening today of a sixth office location to complement our network of European offices in Berlin, Brussels, London, Oxford and Rome.

Maurice de Valois Turk is heading up Oxera’s Amsterdam office, playing a key role in Oxera’s growing international Telecoms, Media & Technology/Digital practice. He will also help to cement the firm’s position in the Dutch market, where we advise corporate clients and law firms on a range of competition, regulatory and litigation matters.

Maurice is a highly experienced competition economist and financial analyst who has helped businesses to deliver strong results through advising on strategy, mergers and regulatory policy. He is a non-governmental adviser to the International Competition Network on behalf of the European Commission, and he is active in the EU Merger Working Group.

On his appointment, Maurice added:

‘I am very much looking forward to being part of a leading and growing consultancy where I can bring my industry experience, and my experience as a client. I am convinced that the new office will make it even easier for us to collaborate with old and new clients in the Netherlands to continue delivering Oxera’s unique brand of compelling economics.’
