We are delighted to announce that Jan Bouckaert, Professor of Economics at the University of Antwerp, has joined Oxera as an Associate. Jan has a strong academic track record in the field of Industrial Organization, and extensive consultancy experience in Belgium, the Netherlands and at EU level. His recent paper on mergers and horizontal sub-contracting has attracted the interest of leading competition authorities around the world. The appointment of Jan Bouckaert follows Oxera’s long-standing approach of building strong links between academia and economics consultancy.
