A highly regarded litigation lawyer and acknowledged legal expert on defamation, Anthony brings a unique skillset to Oxera.
He has held a range of pivotal roles at Mishcon de Reya, including serving on its management board, ten years as head of its litigation practice, and currently as its Deputy Chairman and senior solicitor-advocate. During this period, Anthony has been instrumental to the firm’s success and reputation as an employer of choice; Mishcon de Reya revealed a 30% revenue growth for 2010–11 and was voted the number 1 law firm to work for in the UK in 2009 and 2010. Helen Jenkins, Chair of Oxera’s Board, says:
‘We are delighted that Anthony has agreed to join the Board. He will be helping us with our plans to expand Oxera’s litigation support practice, as well as adding a great depth of experience in profitably growing a professional services firm. He is a complement to our two existing Non-executive Directors, Mike Toms and Professor Julian Franks. The strength and breadth of Oxera’s Board reflects the breadth of work that we do as a firm.’
Anthony Julius comments:
‘I am delighted to be joining the Oxera Board. Oxera is an extraordinary company full of remarkably intelligent and entrepreneurial individuals and I look forward to working with the company over the coming years to develop their offering to lawyers.’
