Johannes is an Analyst in Oxera’s Analytics team. He applies econometric and statistical methods to analyse complex datasets and develop evidence-based insights. His work focuses on applied economics and econometrics, with particular experience in microeconomic analysis, causal inference, and the analysis of firm- and household-level data.
He has experience working with large and mixed datasets, using a range of statistical and econometric tools to identify patterns, estimate relationships, and assess the impact of economic policies and other interventions.
Johannes holds an MSc in International Economics from Erasmus School of Economics, Erasmus University Rotterdam. Before joining Oxera, he worked as a research assistant at Erasmus School of Economics on a project funded by the Asian Development Bank, and as a teaching assistant for undergraduate economics courses. He also completed a traineeship at the European Commission in Brussels.
