Simon is in the final stages of a PhD in industrial organisation at the University of Amsterdam. During his PhD, he interned with the Chief Economist Team of DG Competition, working on the economic analysis underlying two merger cases.
He holds an MPhil in Economics from the Tinbergen Institute, as well as a BSc in Economics and an LLB in Tax Law, both from Erasmus University Rotterdam.
