Emma Zabraniecki : Consultant

Emma has been a member of Oxera’s Competition team in Paris since November 2022. She holds a Master’s degree in Economics and Competition Law from the Toulouse School of Economics. Her work involves providing economic advice for high-profile competition litigations. Emma has completed an internship in the Sélinsky law office and  also worked as an intern at the French Competition Authority. Her experience in the Authority’s antitrust unit for digital and telecoms cases allowed her to gain insights into digital sectors, and specifically online advertising markets.

  • Participation in the investigation on the merits following the rejection of interim measures from complainants, in the Apple case (2022)

  • Preparation of a workshop around the concepts of ‘cookie walls’ and ‘dark patterns’ in cooperation with the French CNIL (Commission Nationale de l’Informatique et des Libertés) (2022)

  • Merger and overlap analysis in the telecoms industry in Hong Kong (2023)

  • Assessment of the social value derived from various public service missions of a public entity through conjoint analysis with discrete choice experiments (2022–24)

  • Economic analysis for market definition, assessment of dominance and assessment of pass-on rates in the context of a major litigation in the semiconductor industry (2022–)
