Dr Kaat Iterbeke : Consultant

Kaat is a member of Oxera’s Analytics Centre of Excellence. Her work at Oxera involves applying econometric analysis to develop insights based on large and complex datasets. Kaat is particularly interested in the use of (quasi-)experimental data. Since joining Oxera, she has worked on several high-profile cases ranging across various sectors, such as the energy and transport industries.

Kaat joined Oxera in March 2022 after completing a PhD in Economics at KU Leuven. During her PhD, she specialised in the evaluation of programmes, interventions and policies using various econometric techniques. She ran multiple randomised experiments in the field of behavioural economics.
