Derek Yide Song : Consultant

Derek is a member of Oxera’s Finance & Valuation practice and focuses on regulatory finance and commercial disputes. He has worked extensively on energy regulation cases involving cost of capital estimation, financial modelling, and profitability assessments, and on commercial disputes involving breach of contract, valuation or insolvency proceedings.

Before joining Oxera, he completed a Master’s in Management at the London School of Economics and a Master’s in Finance at the University of Warwick. He completed his undergraduate studies in Philosophy, Politics and Economics at the University of Warwick in 2016. Derek has completed internships in private banking and private equity, and is a Level III CFA candidate.
