Applying for an internship

Oxera offers a wide range of internship opportunities. Many interns return as full-time employees after completing their internship and/or their studies. In order to qualify you should be working towards a first-class degree (or equivalent) in economics and/or finance. If you’re doing a joint honours degree, there must be an emphasis on microeconomics (particularly industrial organisation), finance and/or econometrics.

The ability to work effectively as part of a team and excellent analytical, communication and people skills are essential.

Summer internships
Oxera welcomes summer interns, so why not join us for up to three months between June and September in one of our offices?
To qualify you need to be a final year undergraduate student in economics and/or finance or a post-graduate student.

Long-term internship (Brussels)
We have opportunities for long-term internships in our Brussels office. The starting date is flexible. The duration should be at least 4 months.
To qualify you need to be a final year undergraduate student in economics and/or finance or a post-graduate student.

If you are looking for a final-year internship (stage), to be based in Brussels, in collaboration with your French or Belgian university, and would be available for full-time work afterwards, please state this in your application.

Long-term internship for undergraduate penultimate students
If you are studying for an undergraduate degree in economics (or a joint honours) with one-year placement, this opportunity could be for you. You would typically need to complete the placement at the end of your second year. We’ll also consider applications from undergraduate second year students who are taking a gap year. The internship should be completed from July 2017 to July 2018.
